LBIA Education Day – “Business Interruption Foundation”

Content: The day will look at how to calculate a correct insurable gross profit sum insured, consider what are the main extensions required (and why), point out the main pitfalls and consider required amendments to the ‘standard’ policy wording. Please bring a calculator!

 Delegates: The course is aimed at relatively inexperienced staff (loss adjusters, junior underwriters, brokers and/or claims technicians) but those with a basic understanding of business interruption.

 Trainer: Diane Jenkins is a technical general insurance trainer with extensive senior level insurance experience, including 24 years at Aon.  She was a member of the IIL/ CILA Research Study Group 265 that published Business Interruption Policy Wordings in October 2012 and she assisted the author with the up-dating of the 9th edition of Riley on Business Interruption Insurance.

Demand is expected to be high, a maximum of five delegates per company will be allowed.  The venue places are limited to 70 persons max, early booking is advisable.
